Our partnership with Best Practice Network (BPN) enables us to deliver the full suite of NPQ Leadership qualifications for our aspiring, middle, and senior leaders. This collaboration provides a structured pathway for staff to develop enhanced leadership skills, work towards potential promotions, and even explore new opportunities in other schools.

How did your team find the learning and development experience with our programs?
The partnership has been particularly beneficial for our senior leaders, who have had opportunities to act as trainers, sharing their expertise with colleagues. Meanwhile, our aspiring and middle leaders have engaged in dynamic, discussion-rich sessions grounded in real-life case studies.
The structured learning approach provided by BPN encourages participants to “practice with purpose,” allowing them to actively develop and refine their leadership skills. Throughout the courses, participants are exposed to a wide variety of scenarios, followed by debriefing sessions with a coach to consolidate their learning. This hands-on approach has been instrumental in helping staff expand their leadership toolkit.
The variety of NPQ courses offered has also been a significant advantage, enabling our staff to pursue training tailored to their specific leadership interests and professional goals. Our team members have successfully undertaken both Specialist and Leadership NPQs across a range of fields, allowing for personalised professional growth.
We were especially pleased to attract a large enough cohort to host in-person sessions on our campus. Many participants found the face-to-face format particularly advantageous, as it fostered stronger connections and collaboration with fellow leaders compared to online or blended formats.
